So it's been 5 weeks since my stupid knee got hurt by the bear incident, and I'm guessing that you all (let's be honest. Only Taylor reads this) might want to know what's up with it. Well the doctor said that I have a contusion (a bruise on the actual bone) on the outside part of my knee and like a strain or torn something on the inside that will just heal up on its own. I no longer need my crutches or my brace and I have started going to physical therapy a couple times a week. (Physical therapy is showing me that I am just overall weak. My arms get tired before my knee hurts with some of the exercises. My arms!)
The expected date of complete recovery is about mid-late October, although I think I am progressing much faster :)

I'm in pain!!!
Hello lovlies.
So about 2 days ago I twisted my knee. You see, I was hiking through the great mountainous range here in South Florida when I turned the corner and came face to face with a giant bionic bear. I froze as fear consumed my heart, and I tried to slowly creep away without this great beast noticing me. But as soon as I started moving the bear snapped it's head in my direction and charged! As you can imagine I freaked out! I bolted and raced up the nearest tree as fast as I could. That was the moment when I heard other people approach the bear. I tried to call out to them and warn them, but my voice was drowned out by the shouts, war cries, and explosions that just... happened! I don't know how to explain it. It was a big blowout battle between the bear and the mystery group. I don't know how long I was up in that tree, but before I could fully comprehend what was happening, it was over. The ground shook as the great bear fell, and the group took off. This was all fine and well, but the vibrations from the bear shook the tree so much that I fell to the very painful ground.
So long story short, I have either strained or torn a ligament in my knee. The doctor said that if it's not better in a week, then I'll need a MRI to see. So in the mean time, I now have a brace, crutches, and medication to help me.
And I now want to know who my heroes are. I would like to thank them for saving my life, so if you have any theories or idea as to who they were please tell me! (Yes this really happened, the Secret Mountains of Florida do actually exist, only the truest Floridians know their location. And if you here a rumor of me falling off of the back of my dad's truck, well that's just a lie that my enemies have created to make me seem like a misinformed fool.)

I'm sorry
I'm bad. I apologies for the complete lack of content on this blog. I may have forgotten about it for a bit. I'm sorry.
Between looking for a job, trying to get an art booth at Evenings on the Avenue in Lake Worth, downloading all of Teen Titans onto my lap top, reading the Walking Dead, reading Dramione fan fics, starting to play WoW, and my precalc class this blog has slipped my mind... ok so it's mainly Teen Titans, fan fics, and WoW to blame here...
So, I guess you would want an update on things right? Well the poster I'm working on is 90% complete and I'm so excited! If you want to see wip photos check them out here: http://pandora26.deviantart.com/gallery/37105675
The web series that I mentioned before is pretty much at a stand still. I was having issues with the main character being so higher-than-thou, so I changed her to be more like a James Potter type of pureblood. That helped a lot because now I don't have the added issue of complete racism to deal with. But now my problem is, do I want it to be a web series or a bunch of sketches that tell a story. Now a web series is a complete continuous story that is easier to understand while it might take longer for the plot line to come across in sketches, but then again, I do not need every little scene that would be required in the series if it's just sketches, and it would be easier and faster to put them up.
oh and I have pretty much given up on writing fan fics. I just can't seem to do it.
So that's all that has happened art wise since last time... hopefully it won't be a 3 month gap between post anymore :)

Future projects/current projects
So its been a couple of weeks and I realized that I need to post SOMETHING on here! You see the original purpose of the blog was to rant and my chem class, but as soon as I created this blog those issues were solved (by us deciding to not include the problem people in the reports at all... they are nor even named on it). So I needed to come up with things to discuss on here. And I have! I'm going to use this as a place to talk about my various ideas that I want to do because not too many people see this blog and my projects (at least one of them right now) is for a close friend who would see it anywhere else online.
So, right, my projects. Currently I have two that I'm working on in some way, shape, or form. The first is a different take on my awesome poster that I worked on with two friends a year ago. (photo here: http://pandora26.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=72#/d2y6npg) Only instead of it reading "awesome poster" it will read "will engineer for food" because we are both studying engineering and its an inside joke that we have.
The other project I'm going to need some help with. I have come up with a new idea for a web series (yes another one of my crazy ideas). It's a Harry Potter related web series. The plot is that a pureblood (classic uppity 20ish pureblood) has to attend a muggle college, and their guide is a squib. The only detail I have been able to work out is that the squib and the pureblood have known each other all of their lives (this gives the aspect of now the pureblood has to survive in the squib's world like the tables are reversed). I really like this idea because it gives so much to play with. Its college which is a time when we are all discovering ourselves, changing who we are, and living on our own for the first time. Add being thrown into a completely different culture and there are so many things that could happen!
Yea so those are the things I am working on instead of my home work at the moment. Now I have to go and register for my summer and fall classes!

Welcome to the dumping
Why hello there! Welcome to my new (and first) blog!
So why the dump?
This blog will be much like a dumping ground of anything and everything the goes on in my life. Whether it's art that I've made, pieces that I've wrote, or just me ranting, there will be a very wide variety on this blog. Hence its name.
Ok so the basics about me:
I'm Adriana. I'm 19 and I live in South Florida (I hate living here). I attend FAU as a mechanical engineer. I am a huge potterhead, and a lot of what I post will show that.
ALL MENTIONS OF THAT VAMPIRE BOOK WILL BE BANISHED! Siriusly, never talk about it in my presence ever! (unless you're bashing it)
